What to expect when you visit....

• Congregational Singing - in each worship service we sing hymns in praise to God.  Eph. 5:19 says "addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,"  We sing several songs during the worship.
• Prayer - We have several times during the service where we pray to God.  Men in the congregation lead the prayers. I Thessalonians 5:16-18 says "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
• Lord's Supper on Sunday - During the Sunday service, each member takes the Lord's Supper.  The bread and fruit of the vine are passed to the members of the congregation after a prayer is offer.  Churches in the Bible took the Lord's Supper.  Jesus instituted it in the gospels i.e. Matt. 26:26 etc.
• Teaching - Each worship service we have preaching and teaching.  During the Bible Class, discussion is encouraged.  One purpose of the worship is to edify members. See 1  I Thessalonians 5:11.
• Contribution on Sunday - the contribution is for members of the congregation.  Also, there is only a collection on Sunday.  See I Corinthians 16:1-3
